1.2.4 Bringing Samples and My Ideas Together.

Taking the pins I have done with my own land markings and adding, flipping and duplicating the motif I have made to come out with a reflective pattern. I chose to take this to my french knot sample and 'Populate' my fabric with a design of my own, with an out come that I find quite appealing. Yes there is things I would tweak with it and the design but for a first, I am happy with the outcome.

As well as the other I chose this design and used my Bondaweb to create a layered effect to separate the black and the white thread. Adding french knots for the smaller detail and using chain stitch in my own way. I liked how I appreciated the finishing touch on this, once Id finished the first layer it didn't feel finished but I stuck the 2 pieces together with the bondaweb and finished with the white thread and it just looked so much better, I think if I added another colour, say a mid tone and another layer in-between would bring so much more to the sample.
