Kate asked us to record what was drawn or created during the lecture she did. I wanted to make mine random, a response to what she was saying, moving my pen when she talked and stopped when she paused thought out sentences, changing direction, I thought it would be interesting to give myself a set of rules, Such as not to look what I was doing, only do what felt right and comfortable in my hand.
With the stitch piece, It was all about what felt right, moving round the page till it felt right to stitch through that part. If it didn't I would move away leaving the impression behind of the pin hole.
With the last one, part was from Kate speech and sentences an the other was the small clip she showed us were I dotted every time he said a word. I found it rather interesting what I come out with. All because of the rules I gave myself.
