On Tuesday we had a different sort of tutorial, where we all got together and commented on each others samples, so I thought I would take advantage of this and ask my fellow students a few questions about my work such as 'if there was anything they didn't like in my pieces'? or 'If they were to much of the same' which cleared up a few things for me, helping me on my next moves and deciding on which way to go next. Plus gave me a lot more confidence in my work and what I had producing.
After that we had time to talk to Kate, and I told her that I wasn't sure what angle to look at next with my work that I felt like I had reached the limit but I knew I had more to give. So she gave me artist and eras to look at for inspiration. Which in fact has helped.
With moving my work on I am looking at bring more texture and height as well as keeping my layers going. Keeping things complete as a collection but all so making each piece unique.
